Saurus (Iguana)

Marine Iguana - Amblyrhynchus cristatus

After i drew the Komodo picture i actually realized i had 2 favorite lizards, this is the 2nd
although this might seem like a cheap move i also just wanted to draw an iguana to be 100% honest

i have liked marine iguanas for probably much longer than i have Komodos actually, i remember being 4 and going "that thing on the TV looks like a dinosaur" this is back when i didn't know what dinosaurs looked like
i just love their bizarre appearance, with their short, blunt faces compared to other iguana species and that spiked roof they have on their heads, the crown of spikes is made cooler to me when i heard it is actually just built up salt, i have no idea why i find that so cool

but i would say the biggest reason this s my other favorite lizard is because the Godzilla form the 1998 movie (that one no one likes for some reason) was a mutated marine iguana, and that detail really stuck with me for a while

hopefully this is the same level of quality as the other animals i have drew, i might also have messed up on some parts mainly the ears
